About the conference

Funded through emda’s £9m STEM programme, this event covers the problem solving skills essential for today’s science, technology and engineering advancements. During the event this will be explored in the context of the region’s economic priority sectors – Transport Equipment, Food and Drink, Sustainable Construction and Healthcare and Bioscience. Problem solving skills are developed through the study of STEM subjects and delegates will be able to hear how the maths curriculum in particular, is changing and responding to this need.
